Last Saturday we were privileged to have my friend Gena share her photography talent with our family. She did such a wonderful job of capturing us and got so many pictures (around 300!). These five are just a few...Enjoy!

Our Cottage By The Sea
Last Saturday Johnny and I had the rare privilege of going on a mini getaway. We only stayed 5 minutes from our home at The Cottage Inn By The Sea in Pismo Beach, but it was heavenly! The Inn treated us so well and upgraded us to a room with a view since we told them we were celebrating our anniversary. Plus, we didn't have to worry about Zeke because he was well taken care of by Grandma and Grandpa (Thanks Mom and Dad!). We also enjoyed a gourment dinner at Steamers and watched the sunset while we ate. It was so much fun to be together!

Counting The Days...
Until Christmas!
I finally made this advent calendar after hanging on to the directions for years. I'm really happy with how it turned out (although it is a bit hard to see the numbers so I'll fix that for next year) and looking forward to using it throughout the years. Zeke has already caught on to the idea that he gets to have chocolate - daily! He stands under the sign and reaches up in desperation...he got his momma's sweet tooth!
