A few Tuesdays ago Zeke and I took my mom down to Santa Barbara for her 2nd foot surgery (brave woman!) and while we waited for her we decided to explore the zoo! We had such a great time. It is my favorite zoo perhaps because I grew up going here, but I also think it is the perfect size. Not too small that you're done in 30 minutes, but not too big that you can't see everything. We stayed for a couple of hours and took in the animals. The gorillas were by far Zeke's favorite!

The sneaky pigeons in the background were trying to gobble up Zeke's corn dog (I know, health food :) ), but Zeke did good at telling them, "No, no pigeons. This is my corn dog!"
